ô      August 1, 2009   Cumberland County American Red Cross is holding their 3rd Annual Appalachian Harley-Davidson Ride for the Red on Saturday, in Mechanicsburg, PA.  We would love to have you join us at our event.  This is a raffle style ride where riders have the choice to stop at 5 out of 7 stops.  One of the new stops this year is the honor stop where we will be collecting items for soldiers who are serving overseas.  There is a list of the stops on our website www.cumberlandcountyarc.org under Ride for the Red.  I have also attached a flyer for the event.  This is one of our major events and this year more then ever we need as much help as possible to make it a success.  We are looking at a possible $100,000+ deficit due to the state of the economy and a large decrease in donations so we are counting on events such as this to try and make up some of the funding that we have lost.  We hope that you will be able to join us.  Please feel free to contact me with any questions.  Have a wonderful day! Sherrie L. Davis, Executive Director Cumberland County American Red Cross 79 E. Pomfret Street Carlisle, PA  17013 (717)  243-5211 ext 30 www.cumberlandcountyarc.org
